Who we are
Axis Engineering Group is a new Civil Engineering firm in Baldwin County. Our staff has over 65 years of combined experience specializing in transportation design and upgrades, site development, drainage and flood control, water and wastewater systems, recreational and athletic facilities as well as construction management.
We look forward to providing quality and care to Baldwin County and the surrounding communities.

Jonathan Petty, P.E.
Jonathan is a native of Louisiana where he earned both his Bachelor and Master’s Degrees at LSU. He worked with Hayden Kaiser at Jordan, Kaiser, & Sessions starting back in 2019. He thoroughly enjoys site and land development, as well as aiding clients in moving their dreams from a concept to a reality. Jonathan has been with Axis from the beginning and hopes to bring some LSU flare to the depths of the Alabama region.

Blake Mendrop, P.E., PLS
Blake is a civil engineer and surveyor with over 35 years of experience in hydraulic design, civil design, project management and construction management. He is recognized for his expertise in water resources, completing his Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Colorado State University. Blake worked at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and in the private sector. His experience lends itself to projects of all sizes and technicalities. Blake is one of the founders for Axis and is looking forward to working and growing with the community.

Hayden Kaiser, III, P.E.
Hayden is a Civil Engineer with 25 years of experience as a registered engineer in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Arkansas. He has current certification from NHI, U.S. Department of Transportation and FHWA. He has served as a Bridge Inspector and Project Engineer for JKS for a host of projects including railroad, NRCS/EWP, airport, sewer and drainage, industrial, commercial and residential projects, airports, and surrounding municipalities. Hayden is also a founder of Axis and thrilled to now be providing quality services for the South Alabama region.
